You know he is turning over in his grave because there is beer and wine being served there. wow and i thought the people at Disney were smart enough. dont you know alcohol mixed with rides is dangerous and people get entirely to crazy while under the influence. Think about that one for a minute

Hopefully, people can be responsible enough (the prices they charge should keep people from getting too far) that it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of others.

Even if they stopped selling alcohol at DCA, people would still drink there. In fact, more people I know PREFER to drink at DTD due to the atmosphere, choices and price.

The fact is, there are many people who won't want to vacation at a "dry" resort.

Opened from 1957 to 1961, and served beer on Disney property. (About where the Haunted Mansion sits today).

    <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holidayland" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holidayland</a>_(Disneyland)

Then, Walt Disney expanded the Monorail to service the Disneyland Hotel, and a Full Service Bar (including Cocktails) was built right next to the station (about a 10 yard walk, both on the upper level) which opened in 1961.

And then Walt Disney came up with the idea of Club 33, the VIP Lounge in New Orleans Square that allowed alcohol to be served.

Also, Disneyland has been renting out the park to private parties and groups since it opened, and has offered alcohol as an option to be served. Also, Disney has hosted plenty of its own special events, including Media events which include the serving of Alcohol over the decades.

Walt Disney was known to grab a drink and/or smoke in non-public areas, including backstage and in his private apartment about the Fire Station.

I think Walt has no problems with the current park policies....

    Why does that matter?

I've said it before, and I'll say again, I do not understand why there isn't at least wine and beer available at restaurants inside DL Park. It's one of the silliest traditions left over from when the park first opened. It really makes no sense.
