Just the bridal party? Our first dance together is to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts Then my dad and I are dancing to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland Then everyone will be invited to dance to "Celebration" by Kool n the Gang and then the dancing is on.... So now I just need this darn farewell dance song.... Help!

They did everything at that wedding! They had a bridal party song, a everybody song, slow fast, every genre, every decade, movie theme songs - the whole nine yards. Something for everyone. It was a total party. What kind of "tone" do you want to set for your guests as they leave? What is your "audience" like? Lots of country fans (I noticed Rascal Flatts and Heartland) Knowing that might help us narrow down our suggestions. That said, I think there are some really great suggestions in this thread! What about... "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" for a slow song; "You've Got A Friend In Me" as people are leaving so its the last song they hear (leave 'em smiling with a catchy Disney tune! LOL); Me and My Gang (Rascal Flatts) if you want to do a Bridal party dance. I'll have to give this some more thought. OH, I just thought of something: TDLFAN would want you to play "Last Dance" by Donna Summer! What about "Can I have This Dance" by Anne Murray? (I love Anne Murray and that song has great lyrics) And I found this website for you: http://www.weddingvendors.com/ music/category/last-dance/ I can't wait to hear what you decide! Okay, last thing - sorry for such a long post - I saw this in a bridal magazine a long time ago and I thought it was really cool. Have the DJ play the wedding songs of your parents and grandparents and have the DJ announce that. Maybe even have your parents and grandparents lead off the dance and then have everyone join in. Just a thought.
