What on earth is wrong with the President having a life??? I think it's pretty obvious the man is working his butt off. I haven't seen him run off to a ranch in Texas for a month's vacation. What's wrong with him having a little fun too?

Listen, we elected him, he can stop campaigning now. When it comes to judging his performance, the polls mean nothing right now. You gotta give the man a solid year to see how he's doing. It's not a huge deal, but I'm becoming uneasy with the amount of time he spends having fun.

Where has he been? Disneyland? Sorry, but I've yet to see Obama doing anything that looked like fun to me. Oh, and to answer the OP's question: yes I want my president to succeed.

Originally Posted By SingleParkPassholder I never want any president to fail. To say that you do is ludicrous. As for Obama "having fun", where does one get that idea? I would suggest he's been making every attempt possible to communicate with the electorate. He's been selling and informing at the same time on any number of issues. The more he's out there trying to explain what he's going to do, the more the public can either understand, get comfortable, beless jittery about things, or offer their own alternatives. His attempt so far to reach out is unprecedented. Then again, despite his attempts at transparency, openness and exchange of ideas, some would say he's "demagoguing". Unbelievable.

Two things I KNOW I would certainly say. OH MY GOD! HE's HUMAN! Call Oprah and tell her he isn't the Messiah, and then go help her put her eyelash back on. If this is all we can come up with to complain about the man, we're some sad folk. I think I'll watch Hannity tonight so I can get some fresh material. At the first mention of basketball brackets, I'm out.
