When PCH Grill was put into the Paradise Pier, it was THE high end restaurant for the resort. It was a remodel of an existing facility, and featured California cuisine in an upscale setting.

As soon as the Napa Rose was built in the Grand Californian, basically the whole PCH staff decamped, and the menu went into the dumper. A few years ago, they totally overhauled the old PCH Grill and went to a casual dining experience. They also have Ohana character dining with Stitch.

That's as much as I know...

The PCH Grill (just found out recently, it stands for Pacific Coast Highway:) is typically very casual dining. Hamburgers, Pizza, Sandwiches and such. DD and fam had dinner there in Oct. and were very happy. We had a GREAT time there at the Lilo and Stitch breakfast and the food was VERY good.

Most of the hotel and resort restaurants have a special holiday meal on the menu and it sounds like PCH is one of them. Have fun!

We ate at PCH Grill pretty frequently during the first couple years after it opened. The food and selection was quite good, although the service was always spotty at best.

I think it is pretty far off the mark to call it "high end", though. The early menu was really much closer to what Storyteller Cafe has now, both in food choices and prices. I don't think it was ever comparable to Napa Rose by any stretch of the imagination. Even at its height, both Granville's and Hook's Point were higher end.
