It was a very formal, upscale restaurant where all the waiters wore tux's, etc. I don't remember any families there, just adults. It was pretty much priced out of the family market. It was the best restaurant at the Hotel, but later thay built Granville's and phased it out. I managed to keep a swizzle stick! I believe it was replaced by Sergeant Preston's bar. Now, I'm really having trouble with the name Oak Room, but that's what turned up on my google searches. The name stuck in my mind is the Crown and Thistle, but that didn't turn up on the same search engine. I'll have to dig up my swizzle stick. I really need to get that book on the DL Hotel's history.
