    I'm picturing a really tiny stretcher. :)

    Bwahahahahaa!

"Here's a vintage image of the lederhosen sporting pair:"

But who took the picture? Fritz?

"Mickey climbs the Matterhorn sometimes, and Goofy."

Yes, and I believe that those characters were a replacement for the "third" climber. I clearly remember three climbers on the Matterhorn back in the 70's and 80's.

My memory was that there WAS "Hans, Otto, and Fritz;" I remembered that from the hours I spent poring over the old guidebooks they gave out as you entered in the 60's and 70's.

And through the wonders of the google machine...

    <a href="http://www.vintagedisneylandtickets.com/images/Disneyland%20Guide%20Book%20Spring%201976.pdf" target="_blank">http://www.vintagedisneylandti...1976.pdf</a>

(Scroll down to page 15 of the pdf - page 26 of the booklet, under weekend and holidays entertainment - and you'll see they were indeed billed as the three of them.)

Glad I'm not crazy! (And isn't that booklet a blast from the past?)

Wow, the cover of that guidebook brought back memories of when I saw America on Parade at WDW in 1975.
