Granted, most were respectful and let my no mean no, but a few were, shall we say, persistent. Over the time I have been going to WDW, I have learned where they congregate, and as such avoid those places. As this is my first trip to DL, I know nothing about where to avoid these people. Could some of the people here please advise on areas heavily populated by these solicitors so that I may avoid them? I am looking for more localized responses, as I do not wish to avoid Anaheim altogether.

I'm just trying to prevent a repeat of m last trip to Orlando. Granted, not all trips were as bad as this one, but this one was pretty bad.
Again, so everyone understands, DVC has never been a worry. They don't bother me.

But this was across the street from the park so people just ignored him. And he was only there once.
Hope your experience will be as pleasantly uninterrupted as well.

If we have to do it every time, it's really no big deal.

The most apgresive ones that I have seen are the "missionaries". They seem very intent on shoving their pamphlets into your hands. Fortunately they are very rarely present.

Well, they are definitely IN the park now. I have enough issues with the excess of ODV carts throughout the park, but now they actually have DVC carts adding to the clutter.

It just totally boggles the mind to think that Disney is so desperate to sell their timeshares that they would actually add to the deterioration of the ambiance within the parks. They already have them at the hotels and in Downtown Disney. Do they really think people want to take time out of their quality park time to explore those options?

I guess there are obvously some weak minded people who will get pulled into their solicitation, or else they wouldn't have them there. But I don't really think that it's adding anything to their Disneyland experience.

The above scenario is not uncommon at all. And if they like what the see/hear from the sales rep. you betcha it adds to their Disneyland experience!

I've never seen a DVC CM solicit anyone who didn't stop at the information stand first. Yes, they are there, but they aren't "hawking" timeshares. They are available to provide information.

I'm not sure how this deteriorates the parks.
