I did like the Moroder version and wish I could get it on DVD. I still listen to the soundtrack quite a bit.

I used to see bootleg DVDs show up on eBay, but there must have been some sort of crackdown on them. At any rate, more good news: Kino, who released the restored cut, confirmed that the new footage will be restored for a 2009 home video release on Blu-ray and standard DVD. A 2009 release date seems almost ambitious, but we'll see, I guess.
