They were chosen to participate in the Flag retreat ceremony that day. All of the Dream Squad folks were on hand to witness the ceremony. It was a great moment, that I hope kids will remember always. I know I will. Fast forward to July 16, 2009. As we were enjoying the company of Hound, Mrs. Hound, x_Pirate Princess_x, and LVBelle (and Jake) for dessert and fireworks, Lisa(a former member of the Dream Squad who participated in the flag ceremony on 12/31/08) arrived with two former Dream Squad co-workers (including a Dream Squad Team leader). They had been saving one final “dream” for the right moment and family. This was not completely random. I think Lisa had been waiting to see us again. With that they presented our family with the flag that had been used for the flag retreat ceremony by the children each day during the duration of the “Year of a Million Dreams”. I cannot tell you how special this is to me, and to my family. I am a very patriotic person. My two favorite things are America and Disney. So, WOW. This has been a fun "dream" for me. The only down part is that my DD was not with us on this trip as she was at camp this week. Don't know what else to say right now, but am glad that Hound, Mrs. Hound, xPPx, LVBelle were able to be there as well to share our special moment This is posted under LP Live discussion also, but wanted it to be here too so it could be shared with more of our LP family.
