They used to update them frequently for new movies and such (WDW's still get updated at least twice a year, since they have Christmas ones) but they haven't been touched since the kickoff of the 50th, 10 years ago today. Given that they were old decorations at the time, they've really overstayed their welcome, IMO

    I'm excited to see how the finished products look. They seem to be designed on a similar level as the castle walkthrough scenes, which makes me think that these ones will also be around for a very long time, but hopefully they're well done. I'm a little worried about how much they use projections, but hopefully that will just be for a little something extra, rather than the main effect

    (and I have no idea what's going on with the Toy Story one...I just don't get it; hopefully the final version will be better)

    Yah, but he said something about watching the toys come to life, which only happens when Andy isn't around. There was also a Woody in the background, in addition to the one dangling from Andy's hands, so I suspect they didn't really show the whole thing for that one

    That Frozen window looks like the best one. I had to laugh when the Imagnineer started mimicking Olaf in the presentation.
