We'll be at the DLR 1/27-1/29...six days, can't wait! :)

This is so true. I was held up at the Wine Country Trattoria over dinner as they had overbooked the restaurant, and we ended up getting to our waiting area only fifteen minutes before the show started and couldn't see a thing. This was a big disappointment and illustrated that even with premium viewing, you need to get there early and wait to be guaranteed not only a good view, but a view of anything at all. I would not do it again without a dinner reservation is at least three hours before the show, and even then I might not do it again, as I hate to pay for premium and not be guaranteed a good view and a pleasant experience. Granted the price for a nice dinner at WCT and a ticket isn't that high, I would pay more for something that guaranteed a good view without the hassle of having to take such a big chunk out of my day to watch a show.

But I kind of agree with post#3. I just was not that impressed compared to other Disney shows. And all the work that went into it. I expected more.
But it is worth seeing once; especially on a rainy night.

I would suggest the second showing.

The yellow section is the best (IMO) and I get there early enough to get a spot right on the water. You may get a little wet, but the view is great.

I love the show, and think it's worth the wait.

We had a FAB time. No troubles at all.
We were sat at soon as we checked in and were served straight away.
The dinner was brilliant and we got un-obstructed views of the show.
I would do it again in a heartbeat as WOC is amazing!

What time were your reservations for what show? I know that the day I went was weird, as they did have a problem at the Wine Country because they had really overbooked for some reason. I am just wondering what is really necessary on a normal day in order to get a relaxed meal and a good view. : )

We *just* managed to get a good viewing spot.

When I've seen the show with FP, that was fine too, just try to get as close to a rail as possible.

Our booking was for 6.10pm at the Wine Country Trattoria. Our meal was served very quickly, I feel because we were in the first seating, as they opened at 6pm.

After dinner we went straight over to the premium viewing area. It was a long wait but I think the un-obstructed view was worth the wait.
It was completely packed full because it was 27th December and that day was very busy at both parks.

I'm also wondering if anyone has experience with viewing WOC from a wheelchair. I know there are designated seating areas, but I wonder if people stand up in front of you so you can't see anyway? We've had that happen at parades at Disneyland and the people in front of us refused to sit or move.
