Since I went a little (okay alot) crazy on pins I am making up trading cards on the computer that say " Traded especially for you at Disneyland by Matthew" that way he has, lets just say 30 pins and he can trade them for pins for his friends as well as himself.... put them on the card and voila a souviner, I think he might really get into this because he will see a Cinderella pin and say "oh Mommy, Hannah loves Cinderella" then he has something to bring home and its a resonable $$$ I got most of my pins for around the $2 to $3 mark...

Another way to get nice pins is to wait until Disneyshopping.com has their annual pin sale, the prices are drastically reduced then!

I on the other hand am a bit more stingey, I buy pins to keep...no trading for me!)

Also, a CHEAP souvinear to give is the 8x10 autographed photo of the characters. If you stay at DLR and tell the front desk it is someone's birthday they will get them a free autographed photo of their favorite character. Along with balloons and a birthday button. They usually say "To My Pal XXXXX". But on mine they didn't put a name, so I photocopied it with photo paper and gave them to all the kids' friends with a Mickey lollipop. I suppose you could request that they do not put a name on the photograph, and just have the characters signature. ATINKFAN- Cute idea using your pins as push pins. That way you can see them everyday and think of your next trip to DL!

This one little boy bought my daughter (7 years old the both of them) a Cinderealla Costume with shoes!!! My god I thought it must have cost a fortune! I felt like making her give it back, but my wife said we have to be gracious and keep it. She said that I will probably feel the same way when "some boy" gives my only daughter an engagement ring. OMG she isn't dating untill she's 30!
