    Yah, I agree that this one fell flat. The basic storyline is no more ridiculous than any other DCOM, but there was just something missing and I didn't really care about any of the characters

    On the bright side, it seems like they're making a lot more DCOMs than they were doing for a while. It's hardly the monthly movie like in the "good old days", but 4-5 per year is not too bad!

    I agree that Girl Meets World is quite good. They have a pretty strong cast (particularly Rowan Blanchard, who is just the right amount of an awkward spaz to make it work) and they all seem to genuinely like each other. The writing has been steadily improving, and if they can continue to move away from the heavy-handed "This week's lesson is...", then it will only get even better.

    It took several seasons for Boy Meets World to really hit its stride, but it feels like they're already finding their groove with this one
