I know a lot of folks that worked with them on the parks material and they found them to be very difficult to deal with.

The kind that are meant for Oscar nominations. And as the page loaded .... I swear I was literally holding my breath - and not exactly thrilled! Tom Hanks looks as much as Walt as Macys passing off as Neiman Marcus. I was hoping for Jean Dujardin. I look at Hanks .. and I see Hanks. Not Walt. So, I'm sure it will be in Hank's acting abilities that will work in his favor - If not his look.

We'll see!>> It is a small film - hence why the BBC is funding it. It isn't designed to be a blockbuster. It has a great cast so the potential is there. I'm not a fan of the director (he did The Blind Side, The Rookie and The Alamo- latter to for Disney) but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I also one of these strange folks that really can't stand Tom Hanks - but I think Emma Thompson is an inspired casting choice!

They took it to Disney to become a co-production due to all of the legal issues around filming. BBC Films don't have a distribution arm so it will be handled by Disney and its partners worldwide.

So I will be able to see it in Austria as well. I just wished that Disney would have brought Waking Sleeping Beauty over here as well, or at least the DVD. Iger is even worse when it comes to the studios than Eisner. At least Eisner still made more different movies under different banners.

I don't think it had any sort of release internationally except at a few festivals. I also don't think it has been released on any format other than region 1 DVD and Netflix download. A real pity for Disney fans IMHO as it is an exceptional documentary. I've still never seen The Sweatbox either. It would be nice if that was available legally at some point.
