I believe the most accommodating was the Napa Rose. I can't remember what she ate there, however. I am pretty sure Churros have eggs in them....my sister eats eggs so I am not sure?

The vegetable skewers at Bengal Barbecue are delicious and theoretically vegan, but have the same problem as the veggie burgers (and I eat them, too, though again I probably shouldn't). The veggie Monte Cristo is definitely out for a vegan, but the Blue Bayou does offer other choices, such as a portobello mushroom entree. Lots of places have salads, and of course you can always bring in your own food. Originally Posted By alexbook >>I wouldn't stress - It was her choice to become Vegan - she will figure out what she can eat rather easily!<< Unfortunately, it's not quite as easy as you'd think. A lot of restaurant foods have "secret" ingredients, and a lot of servers will say that a dish is vegetarian or vegan when it isn't. (I try to put this down to ignorance rather than malice.) "So what?" I hear you ask. Well, if you stop eating meat for a while, and then you eat a bit of a meat product, you can get sick. I'm sure STIL doesn't want her kid's magical vacation ruined by what amounts to food poisoning.

The odd thing is my Sister is deathly (literally) alergic to poultry and has to be much more diligent at DL than her SIL who is Vegan. Most managers at the restaurants are aware of Vegan, wheat, and such food issues - Chicken stock is in so many things you would be suprised - - my sister half the time eats vegan there just to be safe!
