    I'd like to think this would discourage some people from using strollers and ECV when they don't really need them, but at the same time, I feel badly for those that really do. But then again, if you really needed one, you probably would be better off bringing your own.

    If you're talking about bringing a stroller, you could always buy a cheap one for $20-30, carry it on the plane going down, and give it to another family there at the resort when you're done with it.

    hmm... I'll see if I can find the book, but I would be supprised if it was more than 30lbs, and that may be streching it. Certainly not for the older kid who just needs a break sometimes.

    I realize that they are needed by many families as mentioned and I hope that WDW is discouraging their use. There are some people who use them as potential battering rams to clear the way after parades. My DW was a victim of such an act and ended up falling off a curb when she had to back away. I have noticed many others complaining too about this sort of behavior. I wouldn't feel bad at all if they stopped using the double wide ones.

    Sadly there're no laws against rude people. Although strollers make an effective weapon, your wife's asailant would have found another way to push past her had a stroller not been available. :-(
