Originally Posted By brotherdave Yes, it is a sequel. It's about how Jeff Bridges' character, Kevin Flynn dissapeared about 20 years ago, and his son is searching for him. As it turns out, Flynn returned to the computer world and his son ends up there too. Bruce Boxleitner also returns as Allen Bradley, now CEO of ENCOM. Not certain if his alter-ego TRON character will actually be in it, but given that his character is the name of the movie, I'd bet that he will make an appearance somewhere.
