If Im out at regular time than it takes me about 15 minutes or so because the freeway is moving. But if I get out late its about 40 minutes or so. Which is usually the case.

The main road our development is off of has sections that are two lanes each way, and sections that are one lane each way. The speed limit fluctuates between 45 mph and 55 mph. The road is also pretty windy coming down the mountain. Not real windy like side streets on a mountain might be, because of the speed limits, but it has it's twists and turns and its better if you drive slowly (the speed limit).

We get off work during our main commute time, (which really isn't much compared to LA's rush hour time) which can add another 15 minutes or so.

That's my longest drive I do for work, between LA and the bay area. I have 3 main places I stay, it's usually about a 5 and a 1/2 hour drive depending on conditions. I also drive L.A. to Phoneix Az about 5 hours, and L.A. to Las Vegas about 3 1/2 hours. L.A. to San Diego CA-Tijuana MEX about 2 hours. I fly to my other destinations. Normal local driving to various business contacts in L.A. area during regular weekday traffic, about 45 - 90 minutes.

One of my best friends lives in No CA, I am always suggesting they move down here so we can hang out at Disneyland more often but they claim So. CA has too much traffic and I totally disagree, but I cant convince them of that.
