New parade in July: Mickey's WaterWorks

    However, to answer your question, it appears to be a seasonal thing, with the whole 'water' and 'summer' thing tying together nicely.

    Thanks for the article reference. We suspected 'July' would be the drop date.

    I would assume most guests will be somewhat advised of what to expect before hand during pre parade announcements. At least that is the way things have been done at TDL during the Rainy day parade, very watery events such as "Cool the heat" show, or Buzz's Big Mission show.

I'm not entirely sure how that would work from a crowd control stand point, but it would be fairly simple to modify the floats to work that way. They could even have a dry side of the route and a wet side. Either way, I doubt they will be dumping buckets of water on guests, so they won't get that wet. My concern is about the popularity of the headliner attractions like the Liki Tikis and UFO Zone after the parade opens. I can only assume that it won't help them out much.
