The performer is plainly visible, as are the joints in the hard plastic body and limbs. With the great puppets they have for the Walking with Dinosaurs touring show, you'd think Disney could do a little better than this for an up-close experience in a theme park

    If they want to keep the performer visible (for any number of logistical reasons), then perhaps they could frame it as a couple scientists trying to learn about how a real dinosaur would move, by using something structured like their fossils. Given the educational slant of DAK, I could see this angle working fairly well, and would allow them to use the existing costume/puppet

    Seems like a good first step, but like it's not quite ready for prime time yet

    Too bad that is NOT a Velociraptor but a made up Jurassic Park version of the animal. A real Velociraptor is about a foot and half tall and has feathers. It's like Disney just stole one of Universal Studio's costumes and didn't bother to do any research on how the dinosaur really looks.

    Lucky was only in DAK for a short while (no more than 18 months), before being shipped off to HKDL to help make up for the lack of attractions in the park. Eventually he made his way back to WDI in Glendale (after Muppet Mobile Labs moved to HKDL), where he can be seen during the backstage magic Adventures by Disney tour. Or at least that was the last place I heard of him being...
