    Thanks!

My disc exchange didn't go smoothly, so I can't speak to how long it will take. I can tell you that the folks at Disney were wonderful about straightening it out, and once they did, the replacements came quickly.

That's what I was worried about. My tin came today, and they are the old set. They must have been on the Amazon shelf for a while as they are #07,502

I'll keep you updated on the exchange

The Goddess of Spring did look a little off, and I could tell that something wasn't quite right with The Night Before Christmas, but I didn't know that they were replacing disks. I'll have to check into getting that done. They were great about replacing the one disk from the True Life Adventure series (even if it did take a couple months), so I'll definately check this out too!

From a video engineering and authoring standpoint, these are really spectacular errors - the sort of thing you'd expect from a video company being run from somebody's garage. I give 'em credit for replacing the most egregious screwups, but man, how many more titles are they going to be allowed to botch like this?

And what about the titles where there aren't any flagrant errors, but they just did a lousy job? (The Little Mermaid for example.)

Hopefully they'll get their act together before they trash any more Blu-Ray releases. I fear for Sleeping Beauty.

Back to More Silly Symphonies, I received the label to mail the disks back. Since I don't often mail disks I had to get a media envelope to mail it back in and then chose to enjoy the disks once before sending them back.

I was not happy that the label was media mail. If you mess up my 35 dollar disks then I want new ones asap, not ground mail three-quarters across the country.
