At any rate, I've sampled a couple of them tonight. I just now looked closely at the bottle I am currently drinking... 'Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale'.

The label has a drawing of a large bird wearing a skin-tight blue jumpsuit and a black cauldron on its head shoving a nude woman into its mouth. The woman being devoured has black crows flying out of her butt.

I gotta tell you guys... I wouldn't make something like that up. See for yourself:

P.S. Note to Admin... the drawing is done quite tastefully (as such things go) and nothing really shows. The image apparently comes from a rather famous painting entitled "The Garden of Earthly Delights". You just can't knock culture.

But WHAT IS WITH those Dutch anyway??

I bought some beer at TJs for Thanksgiving. I think it was called Fat Weasel Ale. It had a cartoon weasel with a pot belly wearing a tacky Hawaiian shirt and a straw hat.

Le Goat Blush has a bit of a trippy label, too:

Huh... looks like they also do a red sparkling wine (which they bill as champagne, but as we all know, it ain't champagne unless it's from the Champagne region of France) called Mothership over Paris - that label looks pretty neat, too.

And here's some customer feedback posted on their site for one of their brands:

mmmmmmmmm……..Both my kids are a direct result of Pink Catawba.

    LOL
