And then...shhhhh... there is Universal Orlando as well which is a great place to visit. And Sea World....and Kennedy Space Center....

I've also wondered the same about a trip to Disney World vs. 3 trips to Disneyland.

Even though the Magic Kingdom at Disney World is not even close to the Disneyland, the sheer amount of things to do makes up for it. Of course going to Disney World for less than 5 days would be a waste in my opinion. I have very fond memories of my two trips to Disney World but I am still a Disneyland guy through and through.

I agree with Daannzz, there is so much to do at WDW that it's absolutely worth missing 1 (or even 2) trips to DLR.

We loved WDW, but DL is first in our hearts. I'm glad we were able to see/experience WDW and I'm sure we'll go back, but are soooo happy to have DL APs again.

As someone who goes to Disneyland a lot now, I'd trade 2 years of Disneyland for a trip to WDW. It'd hurt, but I'd do it since I haven't been there in 20+ years.

Yes, the MK can't compare to Disneyland, but the overall resort experience is just so different, you owe it to yourself to go.
