But things happen around here quite a bit that none of us can explain. I do feel that whatever/whomever it is ,is now a part of our family and has always looked out for us somehow. As creepy as that is.
So, I was wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with the unknown or knows someone who has. I love a good ghost story .... ( yes I'm serious about our house too)

There have been times that I could swear our back door has opened and closed (it's an old house so there are very distinctive sounds). I thought my husband had walked in the back door but he was still at work and the door was still locked. I have seen a cat out of the corner of my eye when all of our cats have been outside.

Most recently (about four months ago) when I worked at my old job, I knew there was a customer in my department as I had already acknowledged her. There was only one way in and out of my department. My eyes were looking down at a fixture and I distinctly saw another woman out of the corner of my eye. She was closer to me with dark hair pulled into a ponytail and was thin. I looked up and the only other person in my department was the customer I had already acknowledged.

Rumor has it the current Petco store I'm employed at is haunted, but the store will be moving in 10 days.

The next day when we drove by, I couldn't find it at all, so that kind of creeped me out, but I think it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

It's kind of creepy, but none of us seem to feel frightend. In fact we get up and goin there and see whats been going on, only to find nothing out of place or moved.
I'd love to take a REAL Haunted tour someplace like Maine or New Orleans, I think that would be so much fun.
My DH and DD wants to take the Haunted Queen Mary tour but have yet to do so.
    I'm too chicken! BOK BOK!
I love watching TAPS and Ghost Hunters on tv, those kind of shows are so much fun to watch.

I talked to my grandmother about it and she told me that there have been lots of sightings of relatives seen in the house after they have died. I still was scared, but she thinks it was my grandfather watching over me.

Kind of figured that person did something REALLY bad to be stuck haunting an insurance office.

I haven't been on any official ghost tours in New Orleans, but we (my DH and I) have gone by ourselves to various places that have been reported to be haunted. We've not seen any activity in those places.

TDG has been on a couple of ghost tours in his neck of the woods (Kentucky). In case he doesn't see your question, he's not a ghost hunter for a living but has a fascination with it like you and I. (He and I had a great time on the Haunted Mansion attraction at DLR!)

I also know that Labuda has seen her father's ghost. (We've had a similar topic previously!)

Not so certain of that. They just may not have wanted to play that night. When my son was four years old. He became terrified in a hallway of the Queen Mary. He told us that he didn't like the lady in white pushing the cart. Of course we did not see anyone. To this day (he's now eight) he can describe exactly what he saw and he refuses to go back to the Queen Mary. He called her the white lady. It was years later that we heard about the white lady on the Queen Mary that is seen by children.

They're too long to write out, but yes, I have had paranormal experiences after my aunt, dad, sister & mother all died.

My sister's stuff freaked me out so much that I finally said, "Okay, Cindy! I get it! You're here! And you're freaking me out! I love you but you can leave now!" -- and that was the end of THAT.

I personally haven't experienced anything but I have a cousin who lives in a house with a spirit/ghost/entity - whatever you prefer to call it. They're pretty sure its a woman because when they had there first baby, they think this entity would check up on the baby. For instance, covering her up with her blanket in the middle of the night, turining on the mobile, really soft humming (like someone humming a tune), that sort of thing. They also have a rocking chair in their living room that will rock by itself.
