It is a world of difference if you live within driving distance to DL or WDW. That is why I get so frustrated with the treatment i have received at their hotels. Perhaps i am just frustrated and jealous of the locals but it must be a problem Disney is aware of since they are trying to introduce a billion dollar reservation system to monitor everything.

Oh the outrage!

I know how crazy it is and sadly have never had the chance to stay at one. I suppose i could, but then i would only get on vacation once a year opposed to 5 or 6 4day trip we take. We are going to Las Vegas again and we will probably be staying off strip again and it will cost $300 for the entire stay instead of over $1200 for something like Caesars palace or the Venetian. It would be nice, but i just couldnt do it. Going to Paris on the other hand i probably would pay for a nice DL room, but not $500 a night in Anaheim or Florida. "Ok..found the problem. Sometimes waiting until a slow periord can get you deals for in the future. I usually can find great deals for ahead of time if i book in late January or February. There are some websites in which you can reserve a room and you can also cancel it with no charge incase you find something better. Im not sure if you can find DLH hotels on any other sites then the Disney site?

I think when we go to Hawaii it will be over a long weekend where he gets 2 days off lol. At least we are staying awhile, so it will still be cheap enough. "This Paris trip will probably be the last for our entire family. So I want to GO BIG!" I dont blame you. When you are paying to get to another part of the world you might as well pay to have a great trip. I dont find it worth it paying a lot somewhere i go often like Las Vegas or Disney vacation, but somewhere like Paris is different. Are you going to any other part of Europe? or are you spending all your time in Paris?
