Anyway, we will be renewing our AP's for next year (big trip with the daughter and her family in April)and I thought that I would treat us to a night at the GCH or DL hotel at the least. We usually stay off property because the cost is prohibitive for 7-9 days and still feed the 3 grandchildren who usually come with us.

I am really hoping to get an AP discount. 340.00 a night for the GCH sort of takes my breath away and 245.00 for the DL hotel isn't a sneeze either. So what is the procedure for getting an AP discount? Anything that you can tell me will be helpful.

    Thanks a Million !!!!!

I would reserve a room at the DLR properties you hope to stay at, and also reserve a room at another property as back-up. If the rates come down at DLR, call and ask to have your rate adjusted. If they don't come down, cancel the room and go with your back-up.

When the going rate for rooms at GCH was $360, seniors were getting $280. While still expensive, that's a nice savings.

Stupid question, how do you know when AP Nights are offered?

Of course your not 55. Since you are over 60, you should have no problem with this.
