This year there were not very many houses that were giving out candy. We only went down the street and back. And with that only did 5 houses. My street is a circle drive and no one had lights on. Then, on Halloween, we got together en masse at the Methodist church and went trick-or-treating for UNICEF. I realize that it defeated the purpose (giving up your candy to help the underprivileged) but at that age we sure thought it was cool to be able to do both.
Originally Posted By csgoofygirl We had about a dozen. We even had one adult couple with their 15 week old baby (dressed up as a football). They had a bucket with candy in it. The baby was screaming his head off. He was not having fun. It seemed a little odd to me. If I knew them, it would have been totally different, but I have no idea who they are.
