Originally Posted By FerretAfros If they're smart, not too many. It's a tough song to sing well (as seen by the Oscars performance) and it certainly wouldn't make you stand out from the crowd. While it's a big brassy song, it wouldn't let you show much of an emotional range within a short period of time, since it's pretty similar throughout stylistically. Musically, it takes a lot more talent to have a soft tender moment than a big belting blow-the-roof-off moment; if I wanted somebody to take me seriously, I would audition with something that showed some technical ability But I'm not a 14 year old girl in New Zealand, so I probably wouldn't get the part anyway : )
