How so, you ask? Easy, I've just upgraded to Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 Ultimate FOR FREE as part of our partnership with Microsoft. And yes, it's 100% legal. Man, oh MAN this is cool! I plan to have Eric take my computer for a spin this evening and over the next couple of days, just so he can see how groovy this OS is. I love the sidebar - love it, love it, love it! Also think the new search feature is wayy cool, I love the Aero stuff, and I'm amazed that my 3 year old PC (somethng like that I think) actually has a base score of 2.6 - I was sure it'd be lower since my CPU is only 1.73 GHz, but it's actually my graphics card (a 256 meg Geforce 5200) that's keeping me down at 2.6. Anyhow, yay for my company & MS loving us enough to offer free MSDN subscriptions to us.

Interestingly, my six year old inkjet printer will supposedly work. So, what's a girl to do? Labuda, do you know if I download the Vista upgrade, I can "save" it as a file(s) or is it going to do an actual install?

Then when everything works with Vista (a matter of time) you can get rid of XP and have a hard drive dedicated for storage. Remember the same driver problem (not everything works right away) happened when XP first came out.
