One is a recipe me and my mother have made for years ever since I can remember. It's my Great Grandma's recipe. They are cookie cutter cookies and rather than a sugar cookie they are anise flavored. Yum. Not a recipe I am at liberty to share either. I also like the ones with the cherries in the center, we call them Surprise Cookies, you know for the cherry surprise on the inside. I glaze them and then sprinkle the tops with colored sugar or jimmies. A new favorite is one I tried for the first time last year. They are white chocolate raspberry bars. They are sooooo good and so easy. You use refrigerated suagr cookie dough. If any wants the recipe I can look it up.
