They also report Disney has told them that the Mexican Navy is conducting the search.while the Bahamian Maritime Authority is investigating. Also, the Coast Guard and FBI have been notified.

Originally Posted By tapdancemom I was on the Wonder last week when she disappeared. They did make a couple of announcements that she she was missing and that they were looking for her. Then they made the announcement to the ship that they would be searching all cabins in an attempt to locate her. I asked our server that night if she knew if the found Rebecca. She became very sad and said that she was her good friend and they had not found her. We were at see on Monday when she was last seen and didn't dock until Wednesday morning in Puerto Vallarta so it looks really bad. It's very sad.

There is only one policeman assigned to the case, and he is thousands of miles away in the Bahamas because that is where Disney's cruise ships are registered. What has Disney done to prevent it's employees from falling or jumping overboard like this? Has it changed any procedures or equipment? Or is this girl just forgotten? How very sad. If a Cast Member at a Disney theme park went missing like this so mysteriously, and was presumed dead, it would be a huge deal. How interesting that in the cruise industry employees can be killed off like this and no one really cares after a couple days. Very odd.
