This is my first visit to World Showcase and I chose it for the menu and the setting...thinking it might be similar in that to the Blue Bayou. My ADRs for this trip have been a major issue. I'd already changed this one once because my preteen really didn't want to have belly dancers in his face during dinner. So, and I am asking this in all sincerity, should I cancel this ADR? If the food is horrific we can grab counter service. I have a picky eater and have found it hard to find sit down restaurants that carry what he likes- so it won't be a major issue if we have one less meal on our plan. Thoughts?

I've eaten at the San Angel Inn quite a few times and as is the case with most restaurants I've liked some of their dishes better than others. I think that the "Mahi-Mahi a la Veracruzana" is one of the finest entree’s I've had at Epcot. The only thing that I really don't like at the San Angel is the chips... they taste like (and I think ARE) Tostitos. But even there, a tasty salsa helps make up for the grocery store chips.

I always have to have the fruit drink(nonalcohol) because it is so refreshing in the heat. It is also available at the quik-service Mexican/Bar just across from San Angel.A juice version is available and a slushy also. Not sure if one is available with alcohol.
