I know that she didn't do any screening, since she was just standing there, and the vast majority of guests had no idea she was there before they went on it (unless they rode single riders or were visiting with someone who needed special assistance), but it did a great job of keeping people a little more serious, and I'm pretty sure it was a direct response to the announcement that they were removing the screening postion. I just have to wonder if it saves any significant ammount of money to have one of the store CM's stand there (she was wearing the store outfit, not the Splash one) instead of a ride CM scanning the pictures before they pop up. It just doesn't seem like it would make a difference to me.
