So my question is, which day would be best to try and do the parks and should we concentrate on just 1 park or try and do both in 1 day?

Also any suggestions you might have to make our trip enjoyable would be greatly appreciated.

One other thing of note, once I get back permanently from the desert we were going to take the kids on a trip there, this is mainly just a 1 day trip just to do things we normally couldnt do with the 2 little ones around.

    Thanks in advance.

Elegant (at least when I went, admittedly a long time ago... don't know it the quality is still good), and it overlooks Main Street U.S.A.

If so go to DLP, and enjoy Space Mountain, Indy and Big Thunder, the shows (if they are not into them), don't forget Pirates and Phantom Manor - and enjoy a great meal at either California Grill(not quite Napa Rose, but better than most of WDW's offerings) - other great options include Walt's, the Steak House in the Village, the Silver Spur or the Manahatten Grill.

As for best days for DLP - Tuesdays and Thursdays are best for crowds. Be sure to get there for rope drop.

Any other help Will, just let us know.

From the other side of the coin I couldn't imagine visiting DL and not stopping by DCA even if I was only there for the day!

Perhaps a quick showing of Cinemagique?!!!

As for Dining I suggest the California Grill for 2 reasons.

    1. You can go after park close so not take any hours away from the Park (I guess you have been in Europe long enough to know I do mean hours.)

    2. The other restaurants Dave mentioned are fantastic but apart from having to use park hours these are also more child friendly for your next trip. The California Grill is good for familys but is slightly more sedate than the others.

Thanks for your suggestions. What is a good game plan for the parks? Meaning which rides/shows usually have the longest wait and which should we try to hit first thing when we get there. Thanks in advance.

The good seats always go early for The Lion King (do they still give out tickets?).

Indiana Jones can be busy during the middle of the day.

For some reason Peter Pan will be swamped all day as will the "Cycle" rides in Fantasyland - Dumbo etc.

In Discoveryland Buzz also draws big crowds.

In the Studios, you need to be there first thing for Crush or be prepared to wait. Unless things have changed waiting until the end of the day does not work here. Cars will be busy also, but was posting 10 minute waits late in the day in the summer.

Armageddon often has a long wait compared to number of guests waiting, but that's due to the length of the preshow/show.

    RnRc often has short wait-times.

Most of WDS offerings are shows with Cinemagique and Animagique you can afford to arrive late as all seats offer a good view. This isn't the case so much at Motuers Action so I wood get there with plenty of time to spare for a good seat.

If you have any specific queries let me know!!!

My other options were if you suffered from sticker shock. Ranking romantic special experiences:

    1. Cal Grill
    2. Steak House
    3. Manhatten Grill
    4. Yacht Club

Also, if you have not been to WDW since LMA opened, then be sure to see Moteurs Action - it is awesome!

There is no Fastpass and the ride is "low-capacity". "CineMaguique" is a fun attraction, but mostly a 2D movie with some minimal in-theater effects, so don't expect much. The R&RC is fun and theme-wise, different here.. NO "going thru Hollywood" storyline here... mostly a psychodelic trip with lights and such. You will enjoy it never the less...

Not pleased about this as I can only imagine how long the standby line is going to be!

Never thought of a fastpass only attraction. Not that this will be one, as on the sign there are two distinct lines.
