    When I was in the 8th grade, my social studies teacher introduced us to him; he would read various stories or have us listen to some of his broadcasts. We enjoyed listening and trying to figure out who some of the mystery celebrities were. One of them was Colonel Sanders (he was a failure until he retired, and even tried to kidnap his granddaughter), and another was Hitler (He was the only one of 8 kids in his family who didn't die at childbirth or at a young age).

    One that I knew IMMEDIATELY is when my teacher started the story "Walter Elias..." and I perked up. The story featured Walt as a young boy and him killing an owl or something.

    I remember his radio broadcast was on the ABC news stations...

He kept leading listeners on about it being some sort of top secret "Project X" for the military. It turned out to be Adm. Joe Fowler and Gen. Joe Potter, both of whom helped to develop "Project X" which of course happened to be Walt Disney World!
