-The Villain sticker set circa 1998; this was when the Villains logo was Halloweenish and had the Magic Mirror accompanying it. It features the Hatter and the March Hare shaking hands.

-A pencil sketch done by a Disney animator, sold at the Villains in Vogue store at MGM. A pin of his was also sold at the same store. The March Hare has also been featured in this store. And I think the Tweedles had a pin in there too.

Keep in mind that this is a "make your own" Monopoly set, so it's released by Usaopoly; you can also tell because it has the classic long rectangular shape, like most of the special edition Monopolys, like Simpsons, Elvis and 007. The "official" Monopoly sets released by Hasbro will have the short rectangular box, like the Disney and the Pixar versions.

Remind me to bump up *my* version of the Villain Monopoly... :)

I do like the Villain montage on the boxcover. I don't mind them using the SAME Villains all the time (as usual) as long as they include others in with them.

Aw crap...the Mad Hatter is also a property space...COME ON!!!!! Ugh...so are Lucifer, The Hydra and The Cheshire Cat.

I see McLeach, Madam Mim and Stromboli, so their inclusions are a plus.

It's funny: the "railroads" are almost the same ones that I chose.

It would be nice if they could different poses for the Villains once in a while.

Can anybody make out Ratigan? Or the Horned King or Brer Fox?

Nice shot of the Sheriff on the board. And do mine eyes deceive me, or is that the Black Cauldron?

Let's see if we make this out:

-CHANCE/COMMUNITY CHEST: Magic Mirror and Black Cauldron

    -TAXES: Frollo and the Sheriff

-UTILITIES: Pain & Panic and the Hyenas

-RAILROADS: Stromboli, McLeach, Edgar and Sykes

FEATURED VILLAINS: Using the picture on eBay, I'm going to inflict damage on my eyes and try to detect who the "lucky" 30 are. I will go row by row. As you can tell by the picture, the Villains are in alphabetical order.

ROW 1: ?, Big Bad Wolf, Hook, Chernabog, Cheshire Cat, Cruella. Possible suspects: Amos Slade or Alameda Slim.

ROW 2: Evil Queen, Gaston, Governor Ratcliffe, Hades, Horned King, Hydra

ROW 3: Jafar, Kaa, Lady Tremaine, Lucifer, Mad Hatter (idiots), ?; Most likely suspect: Madame Medusa

ROW 4: Madam Mim, Maleficent, Pete, Prince John, Professor Ratigan, Queen of Hearts

ROW 5: Scar, Shan Yu, Shere Khan, Si & Am, Ursula, ?; Possible suspect: Yzma; yes, Willie the Giant or Winkie could be in there, but we all know it probably is her.

I did call Hasbro today about the game, and I already know that the game companies will NOT take suggestions from their loyal customers/fans. To make it look like I wasn't completely nuts, I also told her some past experiences, all good, that I had with Hasbro's customer service. She also gave me the numbers for USAopoly and two other companies for games, one of them being the manufacturers of the make-your-own-opoly sets.

Btw, I forgot to mention that both the Hatter and the Hare are Villains in the Disney Treasures card set, something I've mentioned before on this board. Other Villains in the card set include Yen Sid, Witch Hazel (come on, Donald was the real Villain in "Trick or Treat") and...Panchito. Yes, Panchito. Yes, *that* Panchito from "The Three Caballeros.

Although I like unusual Monopoly games, I prefer the properties to be places rather than people.

    Ahem.

I located the game by accident at a mall in San Francisco and sent a picture message to the LPers who I have in my cell phone. I also saw the Villains Tic-Tac-Toe/Checker set as well.

The Villains actually have property names...and I was wrong about the first Villain. It wasn't an "A" baddie like Amos Slade or Alameda Slim.

It's The Beagle Boys. Yup. A nod to nostalgia was added to the game...a bit surprising to say the least, but still welcome.

I was also right about Medusa and Yzma being in the game.

Here are the included 30, with their property names (if remembered). This is in order of the sticker sheet that they're on.

    ROW 1:
Beagle Boys' Hideout, Big Bad Wolf's Demolition Company, Hook, Chernabog's Bald Mountain, Cheshire Cat's Tulgey Wood, Cruella

ROW 2: Evil Queen's Castle, Gaston's Trophy Den, Governor Ratcliffe's Fort, Hades's Underworld, Horned King's Castle, Hydra's Colosseum

ROW 3: Jafar's Prison Chamber, Kaa's Tree, Lady Tremaine's Mansion, Lucifer's Pet Bed, Mad Hatter, Madame Medusa's Pawn Shop

ROW 4: Madam Mim's Cottage, Maleficent, Pete's Wharf, Prince John's Castle, Professor Ratigan's Sewer, Queen of Hearts' Croquet Ground; I'd like to point out that Pete is in his blue captain's uniform; the same one he's wearing in the Villains calendar, and the recent Villains puzzles.

    ROW 5: Scar's Cave, Shan Yu's Battleground, Shere Khan's Jungle, Si & Am's Basket, Ursula's Grotto, Yzma's Secret Lab

Newport Mall, huh? Then they're eventually progressing through the stores; my money's on that they'll be full round by Christmas and will be seen at Barnes & Noble and Borders. :) Had Hasbro made an "official" version (in this case the box would be much smaller), it would have been out in retail stores like Toys R Us, Wal-Mart and Target.

gottaluv, I'm assuming you saw the game at a game store at the mall? Oh, btw, which Villain chess set do you have? The one from the Disney Catalog with Chern and the Horned King as kings? Or a special Disney Store version where the Malef Dragons and Playing Cards are pawns?
