I think having support among friends will help us make the necessary changes and perhaps the will to keep them. I am sure the path will have valleys and mountains, so it helps to know I can come in here to share them. Thank you and good luck to all those who are here to start the path and those who are already along it.

I keep looking for low impact exercises so that I can do with my dd that will get and keep me moving without killing my knee. (Of course walking around the DLR is always a nice way to go..lol)

But sadly no, I moved my butt and did my Jillian Michaels Cardio Kickbox DVD and 15 minutes on the eliptical machine. I feel better for not piking out today

I'm a compulsive overeater and each moment of every day is a challange of my willNOT power( as I like to call it) I willNOT eat this..I willNOT eat that. LOL! It's so nice to have such a wonderful support system. I know we will all have days or time's of miserable struggle, but with those day's come good triumphant days. Hang in there everyone. Haveing supportive friends here on LP is an amazing thing. Kudo's to everyone here trying to lose this dreaded poundage, And, THANK YOU, to those who aren't loseing weight but come in here to give those of us that are, word's of encouragement and support!! And though we did not deny ourselves anything; fudge, chocolate, adult beverages, eggnog blah blah, blah. We really did eat reasonable measured portions most of the time. We had salads midday a lot. And if we knew we were going to have heavy carb later in the day we skipped the toast with breakfast. Simple stuff like that. I am telling all this because the support of the 2009 thread and the one before that helped make this attitude change come about. Good luck and best wishes to all of us, new and seasoned veterans, this coming year. I need to drop 15-20# this year. I do not care if it comes off slowly just so long as I keep eating healthy and exercising.
