    Blueberries sound yummy. Red velvet cake has no berries however. It is simply chocolate batter dyed red. Some recipes call for beets, but most are simply food coloring. (I did see a recipe online with berries, but traditionally there are none. It must have cream cheese frosting, however.) Very southern tradition. (and yummy)
