The Eurovision Song Contest people are introducing a new contest this weekend. It's generating about 98% less excitement than the Eurovision Song Contest, but being a choir geek myself, I can't friggin' wait. Nine amateur choirs representing their countries will each perform a 6-minute piece, with no accompaniment other than what they provide themselves, and it's a crazy-diverse group. And if you found the quality of the music at the Song Contest lacking, then this should golly well take care of it.
