The coolest thing I've ever seen in my life: Gazing out into the ocean and seeing the Black Pearl go from a little speck on the horizon to a full sized cruising vessel against the faintly lighted sky. Afterward we walked over to the actor's tents / trailors and JD was signing autographs, and being very gracious about it. He actually looked like he was having fun. He got most animated when the little kids came up to him - he was taking pictures with them and signing their T-shirts and skateboards, etc. Very cool to see. It was a BIG contrast from how we were treated by him at the POTC premier. We weren't able to get too close to him but could see him every few seconds if we bobbed our heads from side to side. I took a few pictures and will try to post them later, but unfortunately they are not that good. Too many jumping, screaming teenagers!
