I have never stayed at the Carousel Inn I hope it will be ok.

At the very least the Embassy says they have a heated pool and the Residence Inn does not. Their pool was VERY cold in the spring! Thanks, and I hope 1DisneyNutt doesn't mind me intruding on the post

It's so much more comfortable to sit on a couch to watch TV and have an actual living room! When I stayed there with Wendebird and her daughters, she learned real quick (from me, lol) to stash one of the complimentary cocktails served at the Manager's Reception (wine for us) in the fridge to enjoy before bed. Her girls liked being able to bring back some fruit, cereal or yogurt after breakfast for a later snack. Walking distance restaurants include Bucca di Beppo (in the parking lot), Joe's Crab Shack, Red Robbin and Outback Steak house (next corner). There is a Coco's caticorner from the above. Del Taco is across the street.
