    I would never eat at McD's while at WDW. But I just looked at Pollo Campero's menu online. It doesn't look to be any higher quality than McD's; just another fast food fried chicken place.

It seems a little strange that that one would be so popular, but the DTD one wouldn't. I guess there are other options in DTD, which people are more willing to eat at, compared to the other one that only has the All Star food courts nearby...

    ORDDU: I think McDonald at DTD came in handy for local Floridians who couldn't afford the higher prices of the other restaurants on property but who still wanted to get their 'Disney fix' by coming to Disney property. Many of our friends--even those with annual passes--would eat at McDonalds simply because it was cheaper. So it did serve a purpose.

    The Planet Hollywood closing is only a rumor. Apparently they did close their annex store (I didn't even know they had one), so maybe that was what the rumor was about, and not the actual restaurant.
