I'm assuming geezer just means another man, but the other I'm not so sure.

Geezer is now not just used for old men it is just a man usually when you are telling someone about some one else.

    ie
'I was with this Geezer down the Pub'

Just for ref a Geezerbird is a woman that acts and dresses alittle boyish (Tomboy)

A punter is indeed any kind of customer, including both shop customers and sports betting.

I would say that Geezer started out as a term for a Jack-the-Lad type, but now is just an informal way of saying man, a bit like "Bloke"!!!
