I'm staying at the BW Park Place Inn for the first time this July. I've heard that it's pretty decent and the location is hard to beat.

We have also satyed at BW Stovalls. It's older and farther away. It wasn't as nice as the other two but as it was a quick weekend trip it was cheap and affordable. The long walk was farther than we prefer though.

You absolutely can't beat the location, the room we had was clean and nice, microwave, refrigerator, wireless internet - just the normal. If you want location, go there. Didn't really use/like the breakfast coupons to Captain Kids.

5 is too much for a standard room. You'd have to get a mini-suite for 5 people.

The only thing it ( how many are booked in your room) might make a difference about is they give you vouchers when you check in for breakfast depending on the number of people and number of mornings. A year ago, the hotel clerk actually counted them out, this year, she just handed us a big stack. We don't go to the free breakfast anyway.

I try to tell hubby that we can always cancel if need be. Is the best/cheapest way to reserve through the BW website? Thank you.

We booked from the hotel website 6+ months ahead of time and then somebody ( I think on LP) mentioned a "managers special" they were running and I called the hotel directly and was able to book with it and cancel the other reservations.
