Not quite sure i'm buying it as a green initiative, but it's a nice effort I suppose. Around the net there's been a few comments that the park's blog is starting to show off maybe too much of the backstage stuff. I disagree - Walt liked to show off pretty much everything with his shows.

Hope so. They can keep some of it, in other parts of the FLE, but it'd be nice to see somehting like DL's or like DLP's FL in this area..Woodsy, country, more charming.

Doesn't change the fact that the large majority of MK has become a shadeless desert of suck.

Well, we'll rush over for TLM, but that's really missing the the forest for the trees...literally. ;-)

Seriously, Merfie, you don't need to lecture me on things like Mickey's Tree Farm. Drove by it a few days ago.

But your excuse-making for making the park so full of concrete and lacking shade really is a load of bull$h--.

Disney removes trees so the Castle appears like a huge (insert four-letter term for male member) so people can see a few lame projections during sappy Wishes and so triple-wide folks can park ECVs or push double-wide strollers.

For such a 'green' company, Disney is magical at destroying trees.
