Compare it with TOT, and it looks like there were some artistic liberties taken with the background of the drawing, which was created to show off the Red Cars and new street lights. It looks like there may be some minor upgrades to the facade coming (including possibly adding a balcony to the side of the Animation Building), but I would guess that any major changes happened when that part of the street was closed for the trolley track installation in the fall and they repainted the 'sky'. Also worth noting, if you look closely at the marquee, it looks like Aladdin is still going to be running. It's got great production standards for a theme park, and some very well done songs, but those aren't enough to help it overcome a very weak script with many overdone moments. I'm glad we didn't get the Toy Story musical, but I really would like to get rid of Aladdin.

In fact, based on the artwork, it appears that the entire strip of structures going towards TOT may possibly be redone. Here is the current faux facade along the street leading to TOT: <a href="http://www.yesterland.com/images-inspiration/dca_hyperion.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.yesterland.com/imag...rion.jpg</a> <a href="http://www.yesterland.com/images-inspiration/dca_beverlywilshire.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.yesterland.com/imag...hire.jpg</a>

Hmmm....

As long as the waiting area is closed off and they install bathrooms, and have a better access than 50,000 steps, I'll be happy.

So maybe the "Disney Theater" will be themed to the new route they are going with their toddler tv programing.

The tracks down the main drag were put in last spring, with the ones by TOT running on a schedule a few weeks behind that. Both areas were open in time for the summer crowds. This past fall, they closed the area between the end of the street and TOT, so the only way to get to Aladdin and TOT was through a bug's land, while they installed the new tracks. There's a little trolley stop area back by TOT that looks like it's waiting for some signage and stuff, but other than the overhead wires, it seems like the entire HPB area is ready for a trolley to come down the street.
