Anyway, what fun that must have been! Thanks for sharing all of that with us. I was originally planning to go to DL for Halloween, but my sister wouldn't have made it, which accounts for our trip during Labor Day.

As to the new audio effects heard outside the Tower of Terror (ie., phone ringing, other sounds), if you watch the skits performed in the evenings in front of the Tower, the sounds will make sense, as they tie into those stories.

DBitz2 - Thanks for the info about the sounds. I haven't had a chance to attend any of the storytellings yet.

And credit where credit is due - all the pictures are done by the husband. He just makes my reports look a WHOLE lot better! ;)

Disney even had the Halloween band playing. Once the rope dropped, we knew where things were going to be staged (thanks to cstephens' great wordseye viewpoint!). We only went on two rides because the kids wanted to do the trick-or-treating, crafts, and pictures with Characters. We already have deluxe passes so they knew we could always go another day. The youngest in our group wasn't quite sure what was going on, but by the end was even trying to trick-or-treat Donald and Daisy when we took the group picture. The lighting in the crafts area could be a little brighter, maybe at least by the tables. We never heard any of the kids want to stop doing what the group was doing (this usually happens when we go theme parkin'), so kudos to Disney! Even the oldest kid (15) wanted his face painted!

Would you mind elaborating a bit on the crafts and face painting experience and what the kids actually did? We don't have kids and because the tables were wet and stuff, we didn't stay at the stations at all to see what was going on.

    Thanks!

By that time the kids wanted something to eat and we ate at the Cocina food stand next to the Tortilla Factory. We didn't see any crafts laying around, the tables then had people eating and listening to the DJ. Still wish the crafts area could have had a little more lighting, maybe a couple of pumpkin lanterns?? Our daughter was glad they had the tshirts with their Halloween Treat logo. We never did find any cups or plasticware with the logo.
