When we first started coming to DL it was so nice to just wake up in the am and walk over to the parks! I really liked Hojo's for the convenience to DL and their pools/grounds are very nice, and the price was always competetive. But, I can stay at other places along Harbor for half the price now. Oh well...

We were having such a great time during that week so we decided to try and add one more night to our trip. HA! every hotel/motel on Harbor was booked solid. That last day we went to the parks for a few hours and then left for home. Man I miss having an "Off Season"! ;-)

We head back from the park for the kids to swim, have a snack, cocktails for the adults, shirley temples for the kids, then catch the shuttle back to the park for the evening.

Checked again today and all that's left is smoking K bed. At these prices and crowds this will probably be my last trip until after summer. (Unless I miss it too much and squeeze out one more trip in May.)

We liked Hojo's b/c we felt like it was "our" place! Now, we kind of feel "out of place" at these other hotels. Maybe we'll find a new favorite someday.
