    Cheesecake makes me angry too.

I hate how snide it is. It just sits there on plates and cake stands all smug like it owns the dessert slot, because sooooooo many people love it. But I hate it! *HATE* it I say!

Just today before I came into work I stopped off at Barnes & Nobles, got me a book, and decided to go to the li'l cafe to get some "breakfast" to take into work. I chose a generous cinammon role and a seductive double chocolate fudge cupcake (for a later indulgent-snack), and when I browse the rest of the food case, there are several cakes in there all sliced up---and they're all varities of cheesecake! *UGH* I just can't stand its presumptuous, gloating attitude...

It's bad enough the stuff exists, does there have to be 31 flavors of it too??

Unfortunately, the 4 DVDs of "The Golden Girls" I have at home are filled to the senior citizen brim with cheesecake.

    But ya know what?

    (heh heh, I love this...)

We cheesecake-haters got BEA ARTHUR herself on our side! OH yeah! Read it 'n weep, folks!

[from a Lifetime online chat with Ms. Arthur]

    "Cjovanoski: Whats your favorite cheesecake?

Bea: Do you know something? Now this goes to the grave with you -- I hate cheesecake!

Lifetime Host: How did you manage to eat all that cheesecake???

Bea: You do what you have to do, you know?!? And there was a lot of cheesecake I tell you!"

    unity/chat/beaarthur_transcript03.html</a>

"Question: How much cheesecake has Bea eaten?

Answer: None! Bea hates cheesecake! Sorry to break all of your dreams!"

(Alright DAR...if we start to get ganged-up-on in here, we can just hide behind The Bea---I ain't skeered!)

    Does that count?
