I know a lot of people didn't like this film, the first hour is slow I'll give people that. But once they reach Skull Island the movie never lets up and it become the very definition of a thrill ride.

Conversely, I was kind of reluctant to see king kong, but went anyway and was surprised at how much I liked it. I saw it again when it came out on DVD, and I'll probably end up buying this new extended version.

Wrap some stare-of-the-art, amazing special effects around him, and you've got a terrific movie.

Thanks for the recommendation. And I'm with you Candice, the bug scene was about 10 minutes too long. And TDG, I didn't know you disliked Narnia. I really didn't like it at all. The beavers really bugged me. It just seemed all wrong in so many ways. Sorry to hear it disappointed you, I know how you love those books.
